Artist's Comments

So you may ask "What the heck is a Killustrator?" The Killustrator is an enormous beast, awoken by man's ignorance. He ravages the countryside with his artwork, bent on showing humankind the error of its ways.

Actually, I'm thinking about doing a sequential page showing his origin. I'm thinking something like this: a large meteor falls to earth, carrying an alien life form. The space debris collides with earth in a suburbian home, where an average illustrator lives. The life form merges with the human and together they mutate into a 200 foot tall reptillian monster. Sounds about right.

Sir, this is truly a Toho-caliber creation. Classic Godzilla stance, wicked tail, bristling spines (I especially dig the abdominal armor), beetle-browed evil eyes, the obligatory rows o' fangs...and man, does your use of shading give this guy some added weight.

Random thought: would the Killustrator's primary mode of attack involve streams of ink which transfer all they hit to the 2nd dimension?

Hey, thanks! The killustrator is my own personal title (at least for now). The idea of ink is... grand. i may actually do that if i ever get around to making a sequential story or something. still it's good to hear you compliment him so highly, as he's currently my gimmick. :D

I gathered that much regarding the title, and hey-I've seen gimmicks far, far less worthy of screen-time than this.
